According to Bryan’s House CEO Abigail Erickson-Torres,

The 2020 Pathways to Inclusion Luncheon was scheduled for April 9, 2020. It has been postponed to Wednesday, April 7, at the Belo Mansion. Luncheon Chair Betty Regard and Honorary Co-Chairs Lisa Genecov and Betsy Kleinman didn’t hesitate to pivot quickly in February. They rallied the committee, conducting outreach to panelists, sponsors and ticket holders. Our supporters didn’t hesitate to donate the funds back to the agency during the crisis – to sustain teachers and provide the client families with emergency support services to provide basic needs like rental and utility assistance, food and baby supplies. It was heartwarming. Our sponsors have committed to re-invest in our vital programs in the Fall, and panelists didn’t hesitate to accept the new date to attend and present.

Our 2020 Wisdom’s Hope Awardees – Sarah McCune Losinger, Rust E. Reid, Studio Movie Grill and The University of Texas at Dallas will be honored along with five additional awardees for 2021. They will be announced in October.
All funds raised will provide at risk infants and toddlers ages 0-3 who need medically-managed care onsite with therapies and case management in 2021, so that parents can return to work and rise out of poverty. Our goal is to raise $225,000. Over 450 attendees will enjoy a lively event. The emcee-led discussion will feature a unique perspective from a global leader panelist who is a mother of a child with special needs, to a leader taking extraordinary measures to serve and hire those with special needs.
As a fun element, lunch attendees are encouraged to wear metallic colors and accents. A prize for best dressed will be judged by new 2020-21 Bryan’s House Ambassadors – LeeAnn Locken, Maxine Trowbridge, Elizabeth Ward Kreel, Jennifer LeLash, Mara Pinney, Kate McCoy and Harold Page. Go to http://www.bryanshouse.org/news-events/ for more details. Raffle tickets are being drawn on June 30, 2020 for the prizes listed as a way to help now during this crisis.
