La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas Co-Chairs Mary Deaver and Fran Matise and Social Co-Chairs Michaela Dyer and Kay Herring had a busy 48 hours. The night before, they had staged The Gentlemen’s Night Out at Kelly and Stephen Clark‘s home.
Now on Thursday, February 27, they were at Michelle Fehlman‘s home for “An Evening To Celebrate The Duchess And Escort Mothers.”
Sponsored by attorney Mark Vincent, it wasn’t just a lovely night of girl chatting and sipping. The Evening’s Co-Chairs Kathy Sockwell and [hostess) Michelle had also arranged for talking about the festivities ahead the annual black-tie fundraiser at the Hilton Anatole on Saturday, June 6, as well as sponsorship opportunities. It appeared that many had already been gobbled up. The remaining sponsorships like the gala valet goodie bag, Fiesta Under The Star photo booth and duchess and escort party favors were showcased on the nearby billiard table.
Thanks to the sponsorships and other fundraising resulting from the annual La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas, such organizations as Boys and Girls Clubs, CARE Dallas, The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology, Connecting Point of Park Cities, Dallas Children’s Theater, The Elisa Project, Friends of the Highland Park Library, Friends of the University Park Public Library, Highland Park Education Foundation, HP Arts, Highland Park Literary Festival, HPHS Community Service Council, HPHS Student Emergency Fund, HPHS Counseling and Student Council, HPHS Youth and Government/Moody Family YMCA, and Park Cities Heritage House at Dallas Heritage Village will benefit.
