Allow me to tell you a story starting Monday morning. It’s an old-fashioned yarn. Let’s call it “The Best Thing You Ever Met.” It is pure fiction, so the names, characters, businesses, events and locales are purely the products of the writer’s overly active imagination.
Because it’s long, it will be told over a series of days. If you get ho-hummed about it, not to worry. We’ll still keep up with the North Texas nonprofits as they strive on for the good of their neighbors.
While the story may not be typical of MySweetCharity posts, the little serial may provide a much-needed escape from the present anxieties.
Please forgive our straying from the usual format. We’ll try not to let it happen again.
