According to Madeline Yeaman,
SPCA of Texas volunteer Jorja Williams has been spending her free time being friendly to felines at the shelter. Using recycled cardboard boxes, paper, string and a lot of creativity, Jorja create one-of-a-kind cat houses that make shelters cats feel a little more at home. The amount of time, effort and love that she puts into each and every creation is awe-inspiring, filling both cats and people with an extra bit of joy.
From “Catingham Castle” to holiday themes, Jorja is always working to create eye-catching beds for cats. Many cats at the shelter seek comfort in smaller, enclosed spaces where they can feel safe and observe the world around them.
The special houses made by Jorja give even the most fearful kitties a comfortable place to rest in style. Her kindness towards homeless animals is greatly appreciated and warms the hearts of everyone who knows her.
Jorja’s unique cat houses have quickly become the talk of the town amongst SPCA of Texas staff and volunteers, and she is a shining example of giving.
