When a disaster takes the world down, great efforts arise thanks to good people. When COVID-19 started turning hospitals into battlefields, healthcare workers were on the front-line doing round-the-clock, life-saving work. A group of North Texans (Nina and Ryan Bell, Hannah and Searcy Ferguson, Cindy Stager and Catherine and Daniel Traylor) “felt called to do something tangible to help them, and out of this Food For The Frontlines Dallas was born.”

As Cindy explained the program, “We are providing meals to the frontline healthcare workers at UTSW and Parkland emergency departments and certain ICU units treating COVID-19 patients by utilizing local restaurants for the meals. We are able to help two groups: our tireless healthcare professionals and our local restaurants, who have been so severely affected.
“A the pandemic situation hit, we felt called to help in some small way. The outpouring of appreciation and gratitude from the doctors, nurses, respiratory technicians, etc. has been humbling.”
