Have you been wondering if North Texas’ legendary philanthropic lions have been catnapping during this epic period? Of course not! They’ve been busy connecting and reaching out to everyone from individuals, corporations to foundations to come to the aid of their neighbors.
Tomorrow from 10 to 11 a.m. Social Venture Partners Dallas (SVP) is hosting “Thinking Globally, Acting Locally, Philanthropy Responds,” an online conversation moderated by SVP CEO Tony Fleo with Texas Women’s Foundation President/CEO Ros Dawson Thompson, The Dallas Foundation President Matthew Randazzo, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas President/CEO Jennifer Sampson and Communities Foundation of Texas President/CEO David Scullin. The panel will be discussing “how the local social impact community is responding to CVID-19, what each of these organization is doing and how we can be strategic in our working together over coming months.”
Want to listen in on the chat and get some ideas … and hope? Register here! So far, at least 900 have signed up for the discussion.
