While there are more cancellations of North Texas fundraisers being reported, there are also those groups that are regrouping to raise awareness and funds for their nonprofits. Some are postponing to summer, fall and winter dates; others are going virtual. And then there are some that are waiting to see if further restrictions will be made in the days to come before deciding how to proceed.
In the meantime, here are the latest notifications of change:
Cancellation
- Literacy Achieves’ “Wings of Spring” scheduled for Monday, March 30, at Temple Emanu-El
- Room To Grow’s “2020 Dec My Room” scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at NorthPark Center’s Neiman Marcus Courtyard
Postponement
- Cowboys Who Care Foundation’s and All Star Equestrian Foundation’s NFL Cheer Alum Roaring 1920’s Gala schedule for Friday, March 27 at the Westin Irving Convention Center is postponed to a date to be determined
- Dallas Center for Photography‘s Off The Wall scheduled for Saturday, April 4, at the Dallas Center for Photography is postponed to a date to be determined
Going virtual
- Mayor’s Star Council’s “Engage Dallas Leadership Summit” scheduled for Friday, March 27, at The Bomb Factory is going virtual on a date to be determined
- Promise House Youth Homeless Shelter’s “Promise to Care – An Unsheltered Experience“ scheduled for Friday, April 3, at Ron Kirk Pedestrian Bridge is going virtual on a date to be determined
