While it may seem ages away, fall fundraising is underway. Folks are queuing up sponsors, patron party locations and even new fundraising events.
Created back in January 2013, the MSC Calendar’s sole purpose was to help get the word out and let others know that North Texas nonprofits are staking their territory for a certain date. The hope was to prevent fundraising collisions.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t always worked. Want proof? How about Saturday, February 29, (aka the worst tsunami of February North Texas fundraising) or Saturday, April 27 (wine lovers vs. art lovers)? In fact, the entire month of April is enough to implant wrinkles on the most filler-enhanced middle-ager.
The basic listings are still absolutely free. Don’t you love that four-letter word! But, of course, there are upgrades. After all these years, they’re only $25 per upgrade, but don’t tell the MSC accountant.
So, if you have an event that’s not listed on the MSC Calendar, here’s the form to submit the information.
