Instead of letting the dreary and chilly weather get you down, focus on spring. It’s just a handful of weeks away and with it will come sunshiny days demanding colorful and breezy clothes and high-heel sandals. But what’s going to separate the great looks from the not-so-good ones?
2020 Room To Grow Co-Chairs Dawn Greiner and Terra Najork, Honorary Chair Tiffany Cuban and NorthPark Chair Kristen Gibbins have come up with the answers. They’ve arranged for NorthPark’s Fashion And Lifestyle Ambassador Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and fashion plate blogging/business woman Kameron Westcott to dish on this season’s trends on Wednesday, April 15, to benefit Dec My Room’s Dallas chapter.
Providing the visual looks of spring will be clothes from Neiman’s NorthPark. And just in case the day’s weather doesn’t behave, Kristen and her crackerjack team will magically transport the whole kit-and-caboodle indoors just like they did last year.
All this education isn’t going to be in a classroom. Rather, the presentation will take place in NorthPark’s Neiman Marcus Courtyard with a seated luncheon, a raffle and after-luncheon bubbles and sweets on NM’s Level Two.
Dawn explained, “Terra and I are honored to be able to support Dec My Room’s mission by chairing the 2020 luncheon and fashion presentation. All proceeds will help the organization fulfill their mission to transform plain and boring hospital rooms into a truly colorful and personal healing place for patients. We hope the community will join us.”
According to Dec My Room’s Dallas Chapter Executive Director Karen Michlewicz, “We are immensely grateful to NorthPark Center and Neiman Marcus for the opportunity to return to their beautiful home for the fourth year of our fundraiser. This gorgeous luncheon and fashion presentation is quickly becoming one of the premier spring events in Dallas and even more importantly raises much-needed funds for children who have extended stays in the hospital.”
Starting at $1,000, sponsorships are the way to go, since individual tickets won’t be available until Wednesday, April 1… no fooling.
