
As the decade comes to an end today, so Les Femmes Du Monde is officially closing its doors after 58 years. 2018-2019 Les Femmes President Martha C. Cox made the formal announcement that follows:
“Since its founding in 1961 to support the World Affairs Council of Dallas and Fort Worth, and later adding Children’s Health, both as beneficiaries, Les Femmes du Monde has been supported by hundreds of women, raising over $2,000,000 to benefit the World Affairs Council and $750,000 to benefit Children’s Health. Woman of the Year honorees have included:

“It has reached a time when the members have joined their preferred beneficiary based on their personal passion. As a result, the nonprofit organization of Les Femmes du Monde has been dissolved.
“The entire board gives its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who have been involved over the years as members, supporters, underwriters and volunteers.
