JUST IN: 2020 Aware Affair Plans Announced With Emphasis On “Unmasking The Myths”

Nov 6, 2019 9:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

With the biggest turnout ever, the 2020 Aware Affair’s kick-off party at Stephanie and Bennie Bray’s Highland Park home tonight was a smash hit, and deservedly so. The Brays’ way-too-cool home was bulging with art and loads of Aware longtime supporters and newbies to learn about the plans for the annual Aware Affair fundraiser.

Red-haired Aware President Jolie Humphrey revealed to a living room crowded to the max that the fundraiser would be taking place on Friday, April 3, with funds targeted for caretakers of Alzheimer’s patients.  She added that the honorary co-chairs would be Sally and Forrest Hoglund.

But when it came to the location of the event, Jolie stressed that the ink hadn’t dried on the contract. In other words, it’s to-be-announced.

Aware Affair Co-Chairs Kersten Rettig and Clark Knippers emphasized the fact that the “Unmask The Myths” fundraiser would be

  1. Fun
  2. Demystifying the myths of Alzheimer’s
  3. Emphasizing the support provided by Alzheimer’s caretakers

Stay tuned for where the celebration of caretakers will take place. In the meantime, check out your possibilities for participation here.
