North Texas nonprofits were up against all types of challenges on Thursday, October 10. There were after-school activities and traffic that moved as slow as a sloth. Adding to the mix was the season’s first norther that was escorted by threats of hail and 60 MPH wind. While most would have hunkered down, the fundraisers held forth.

Over at Stanley Korshak, the second floor was the scene of The Family Place’s 2019 ReuNight Kick Off party with Co-Chairs Melinda Bell, Catherine Cox and Natalie Lorio and Honorary Co-Chair John Hallam.

Alas, TFP CEO Paige Flink couldn’t make it due to out-of-town commitments, but TFP Development VP Melissa Sherrill and Development Manager Mary Catherine Benavides stood in.

In addition to learning about plans for the dining, wining and bidding at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek’s The Lawn on Wednesday, November 6, guests like Regina Bruce and Lynn and Allan McBee had a private presentation of Brunello Cucinelli fall fashions.

And for Carol Seay, the night was a twofer. In addition to supporting ReuNight, she was checking out Christmas gifts that will be on her Partners Card shopping list.
