Weather Woes: Thursday’s Drumbeat Drop In Temperature Bodes A Chilly And Wet Friday

Dig out your parachutes and sweaters pronto. Come Thursday, North Texas is going to be deep diving when it comes to temperatures. The high on Thursday is to be flirting with 90, but it’s going to be downhill from there.

Come Friday when fundraising luncheons like Baylor Scott and White Foundation Dallas’ Celebrating Women and New Friends New Life’s Annual Luncheon, as well as DIFFA’S Burgers and Burgundy get underway, the high is gonna linger in the low 60’s and plummet to the 40s.

Take heart. In addition to Kristin Chenoweth at Anatole for Celebrating Women and Jada Picket Smith at the Omni for New Friends New Life, DIFFA’s grilling delights at Klyde Warren Park and loads of Longhorn and Oklahoma boosters pouring into the area, the forecast is just hinting that rain especially on Friday may be dropping on the area’s parched lawns and acres.

Regardless, it’s time to pull out those boots, scarves and gloves. You’re gonna need them as the march into the winter of 2019 gets underway.
