Leslie Ann Crozier and Katherine Wynne have a double doozy of a win for Tuesday night’s Triumph Over Alzheimer’s Forum and Dinner at the Bush Center.

First of all, it seems that Leslie has become a good friend of Mariel Hemingway, who years ago had had a Dallas restaurant named after her — Sam’s Cafe — when her former husband, Stephen Crisman, was serving up vittles at The Crescent. Since that time Mariel, who also has been in films (“Lipstick” and “Manhattan”) and TV productions (“First Daughter,” “Central Park West,” “Amerika,” etc.), has become an author and an advocate for mental health.
As part of the forum, Leslie has arranged to have Mariel as the honorary host for the Triumph Over Alzheimer’s fundraising evening that will have Dr. Rudy Tanzi of Harvard, Dr. Roger Rosenberg of UT Southwestern) and Dr. Michael Hayden of British Columbia) and The Allen Institute for Brain Science President/CEO Dr. Allen Jones on stage to discuss on “Alzheimer’s New Horizon … Breakthroughs in Prevention and Early Detection”.
And what was the second win? The event is so sold out!
