They say things are bigger in Texas and the 2019 Crystal Charity Ball Platinum Circle Dinner on Thursday, September 5, lived up to that claim. With a bigger than life-size group photo of the 2019 Crystal Charity Ball Ten Best Dressed (Delilah Boyd, Lisa Cooley, Tiffany Divis, Jennifer Dix, Cate Ford, Cara French, Amy Hegi, Karla McKinley, Amy Prestidge and Kimberly Schlegel Whitman) and Hall of Famer Francie Moody Dahlberg as the backdrop, the seated dinner at the Dallas Country Club was the first of the fall season fundraising suppers.
The favorite game of the night was playing catchup from the summer getaways. Some had been in Europe; others had just stayed home side in the western USA.
When it came to a group photo of the 10-plus-1 with 2019 CCB Chair Pat McEvoy and 2019 CCB Ten Best Fashion Show Chair Ola Fojtasek, there was one BD-er MIA. It was Amy Hegi.
