Not all the fins were seen on TV’s Shark Week. There were a bunch of them at Callier Center for Communication Disorder’s annual Cochlear Implant Summer Listening Camp during the week of July 22nd at Cross Creek Ranch in Parker.
Volunteers had suggested using the “shark” theme for the 2019 camp for kids (ages 4-11) who have received cochlear implants. It was a killer of a hit with the kids and counselors doing everything from science experiments to relay races.
And thanks to Mother Nature’s raining on the area earlier in the summer, the ranch’s pond was just perfect for fishing.
