I am thrilled to serve as the auction chair for the fourth year in a row for the SPCA of Texas’ annual Fur Ball gala! I am confident this year will be just as magical as last year with another upcoming sellout! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 21, from 6:30 p.m. until midnight at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Make sure you are there when the Bank of America building lights up purple for the SPCA of Texas.
This year, the SPCA of Texas, is excited to announce a very special partnership for Fur Ball 2019 with a company synonymous with Texas, Tito’s Vodka for Dog People. Together, we will raise money to help rescue more than 3,000 animals from animal cruelty in North Texas, help them heal and find them new forever homes!
Fur Ball 2019, is sure to be a remarkable success thanks to Event Chairs Lana and John Payne, and Co-Chairs Katherine and Jacob Payne. Plus, we are thrilled that Lana brought on Underwriting Chair Arlene Kirkland as this amazing event continues to grow.
I’m excited to announce this year’s auction has expanded tremendously! With that being said, please let me introduce to you my two team leaders Auction Chair Julia Howard and Auction Co-Chair Amber Camper. Our fantastic auction committee has been working tirelessly to secure outstanding items for the live and silent auctions. Not only will Fur Ball include a three course dinner, headline entertainment and dancing, but we will also be auctioning off our first cruise during the live auction. The winner will enjoy a magical, ten day expedition as they sail across the Mediterranean Sea on Oceania Cruises with guest chefs American cheesemaker/cookbook author/and entrepreneur Paula Lambert and renowned Dallas Chef Stephan Pyles, one of the founding fathers of Southwestern cuisine! After eating to their hearts content, the winner will dive into the past while exploring the beautiful Renaissance city of Florence, enjoy the lavish casinos of Monte Carlo, and take in the art and serenity of Saint-Tropez. Not to mention, visit the gorgeous, pristine beaches and enjoy the nightlife of Ibiza, along with other stunning destinations. And this is just one of our many LIVE auction packages!
