According to 2019 Kappa Tablescapes Co-Chairs Anne McPherson, Kim Purnell and Stacey Walker,
Kappa Tablescapes is a two-day charity event sponsored by the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma. It brings together Dallas’ finest designers, florists, and retailers who create magnificent and imaginative table decorations to help raise funds to benefit a group of non-profit agencies carefully selected each year. Tablescapes will be Tuesday, October 15, at Dallas Country Club. We are honored to serve as co-chairmen of the 25th anniversary of this important fund-raising event which has distributed more than $3 million to dozens of Dallas non-profits.
The annual event includes an elegant candlelight evening cocktail reception for 1000 guests to mingle and view the beautifully decorated tables on Monday, October 14.
On the following day our special guest, a lifestyle guru, entertaining expert or interior designer inspires guests with a presentation at the luncheon and offers a book signing, and guests enjoy dining at the designers’ incredible table creations. This year’s featured guest is lifestyle expert and author Ray Booth who wrote “Evocative Interiors.”
Tablescapes 2019 will also honor the legacy of civic leader Lindalyn Adams who is the Key Honoree. As always, we will also celebrate the creativity, vision and dedication of Tablescapes Founder Louise Spence Griffeth.
There are several unique raffle items including a $5,000 gift certificate from Eiseman Jewels NorthPark Center, Highland Park Village $1,000 gift certificate, an abstract painting from Kim Collins Fine Art, $1,200 Central Market shopping spree and a Michael Aram bowl from Jackson’s Home and Garden.
