JUST IN: Brian Bolke To Chair Art Ball 2020

Aug 22, 2019 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

The lull is over and the storm of news about North Texas fundraising is thundering in. And it’s not just about the upcoming season!

For instance, Art Ball 2020 has already landed its chair and what a chair it is… none other than that creative powerhouse Brian Bolke. People still talk about that pop-up shop he created complete with an Elder Statesman cashmere lingerie set for the Art Ball’s 50th anniversary in 2015.

In addition to being the force behind the Forty Five Ten on McKinney and the move to downtown Dallas, he’s taken his ahead-of-the-herd vision to the Big Apple’s Hudson Yards where he opened The Conservatory this past spring.

Just imagine what brainy Brian has in mind for the Dallas Museum of Art fundraiser that will take place on Saturday, April 18. It’s definitely gonna be smart, sleek and so much fun! Plus the people watching is going to be simply toppest drawer, don’t you know.

More details to follow, but in the meantime why not drop by the utterly fabulous  Dior: From Paris to the World? The DMA has managed to extend the exhibition until Sunday, October 27, so hop to it. Even if you’ve toured the galleries of fashions, you’ll want a second and third visit before it becomes a beautiful memory.
