The Exhibition Ambassadors Luncheon had been eagerly anticipated by art and fashion lovers. Would the Dallas Museum of Art’s presentation of “Dior: From Paris To The World” be out of this world?

Luncheon guests were more than glad to have paid the hefty price tag to get the first look on Monday, May 13. It would kick off the days of celebrating the exhibition that would run through the summer until Sunday, September 1.

As a bonus, Luncheon Co-Chairs Gene Jones, Charlotte Jones Anderson and Jordan Jones with Honorary Chair Nancy C. Roger had arranged to have such worldly fashion experts as Denver Art Museum’s Avenir Foundation Curator of Textile Art and Fashion Florence Müller, Dior milliner Stephen Jones and fashion journalist Hamish Bowles join them.

From the cellphone salutes snapping shots of the fashions, they were thrilled with what they discovered in the reconfigured Barrel Vault.
