2019 Partner’s Card Program Kicks Off With A Trio Of Chairs At Highland Park Village’s Market

Jul 5, 2019 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

The Family Place‘s signature fundraising Partners Card program kicked off with a shopfest at Market in Highland Park Village on Tuesday, May 21, with the 2019 co-chairs being Rachel Michell, Nina Sachse and Stephanie Seay and NorthPark Ambassador for The Family Place Robert Weatherly as honorary chair. BTW, the cards officially go on sale Wednesday, September 4. Here’s a report from the field:

On Tuesday, May 21, at Highland Park’s Market, 2019 Partner’s Card Co-Chair Stephanie Seay welcomed a rather jovial crowd of shoppers as they celebrated the forthcoming new season of The Family Place’s premier fundraiser.

“This is both fun and vital to our community,” shared Seay, who is set to chair the 27th annual Partners Card along with Rachel Michell and Nina Sachse. This dynamic trio was joined at the evening’s festivities by this year’s Honorary Chair Robert Weatherly. Weatherly has been a longtime champion for The Family Place and also chaired ReuNight along with Nancy Rogers back in 2015.

Back on board for this year’s Partners Card (housekeeping tip – is set to run Friday, October 25 – Sunday, November 3) as presenting sponsor is Bank of Texas. Bank of Texas’ Bob White shared the exciting news that BOT was thrilled to be back for its 11th annual year partnering with TFP.

“We had astounding results last year raising over $1 million,” said White. “We hope to continue increasing funds this year.”

Post remarks, the crowd enjoyed shopping the latest spring fashions and shopped for the cause as 10% of all proceeds from the evening went towards The Family Place.
