Just In: Overcoming Horsepower Parking Challenges, 2019 Equest Style Show And Luncheon Theme Was Revealed

May 21, 2019 9:00 PM by Jeanne Prejean

The only twosome not having parking problems tonight in Highland Park Village were the Equest mini-ambassadors that stood between the Village Movie Theater and the Carolina Herrera salon. While tourists and passersby thought it was just a cute photo opp, Equest fans like Equest Women’s Auxiliary President Cara French ponied up for a snapshot.

Actually, the mini-twosome was on hand for the Equest Women’s Auxiliary’s reception to announce the theme for the style show/luncheon fundraiser on Tuesday, October 1, at Brook Hollow Golf Club.

With her Co-Chair Julianna LeBlanc standing by pretty in pink Carolina Herrera, Co-Chairs Julie Badgley revealed the theme would be “Harnessing Hope,” with Lisa Troutt receiving the Community Service Award and longtime Equest supporter Rusty Duvall as the honorary chair.

Fashions for the runway will be provided by Highland Park Village merchants under the supervision of Jan Strimple.
