From all the predictions, Wednesday, April 17, was going to be a near end-of-the-world episode with hail, floods, etc. Throughout North Texas event planners were in crisis mode. Some were forced to cancel for the safety of their guests and staffs. Over at NorthPark, Dec My Room’s Room To Grow Luncheon Co-Chairs Kristi Bare and Nancy Gopez worked with the Center management team to move the outdoor fundraiser to the indoor SouthCourt.
It was a success with Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Meredith Land doing the commentary about fashions from Neiman Marcus NorthPark, while the guests chowed down on salads from Parigi’s.
Special guest of honor was Bennett Williams, who had been one of Dec My Room’s recipients.
