The Mother Nature roller coaster continues to provide ups and downs for fundraisers. While the Midwest is experiencing the “Bomb Cyclone” with snow, ice and freezing weather, North Texas is headed for a couple of challenging days, too.
With temps hitting everything from the 40s to the 70s, Saturday morning is going to be the real game-changer, with some experts suggesting a 100% chance of showers and the possibility of serious thunderstorms and other “stuff.”
Luckily, the Klyde Warren Park folks have already adjusted their Saturday Food Truck Rally to prevent folks and vendors from venturing out. And it was a pretty smart move. They shifted the rally to the Sunday before Labor Day.
According to the Park peeps, “Hold the mayo! Klyde Warren Park’s Food Truck Rally does not cut the mustard when Mother Nature has bigger plans. New date: Sunday, September 1!”
