Despite the expected overnight march of a coolish front headed to North Texas, Dallas Arboretum Women’s Council President Linda Spina was all smiles at the patron party tonight at Tucker and Rich Enthoven‘s estate. She reported that along with 2019 Mad Hatter‘s Co-Chairs Sharla Bush and Terry Irby, they’ve adjusted plans to address the change of temperatures for Thursday’s champagne reception.
If you’re “hatted” in the direction of the Arboretum for the festivities, don’t argue with the folks at the gate when they direct you to “A Tasteful Place.” That’s where the bubbly will be flowing and “The Golden Day of Hollywood” will be on display instead of usual Ginsburg Family Plaza. After all, you want your champagne chilled, not your guests.
Following the reception, the top-heavy crowd will stiletto their way to Rosine Hall for the Jan Strimple-produced fashion show and awards ceremony.
By the time the indoor activities are a part of Mad Hatter’s history, the guests will lunch in the tented Ginsburg Plaza.
Suggestion: While weather Ouija boards are reporting that the temps will be in the low 70s, it wouldn’t hurt to haul along a pashmina.
