JUST IN: 2019 Harvest Chairs, Date And Locations Deliciously Served Up

Mar 25, 2019 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Marvin and Lisa Singleton

The Arboretum seems to be the center of the North Texas fundraising universe. Word just arrived that the North Texas Food Bank’s “Harvest” is returning to the Arboretum with a slight tweak. Co-Chairs Lisa and Marvin Singleton have decided to move last year’s fundraiser of grazing from the Camp House to the yumilicious “A Tasteful Place.”

According to NTFB CEO/President Trisha Cunningham, “This event is critical to our efforts to raise awareness and funds in support of our mission to provide healthy food for hungry North Texans – especially children and seniors. To date Harvest has helped us raise more than $1 million, providing more than 3 million meals for our neighbors in need. With Lisa and Marvin at the helm and the enchanting backdrop of the Arboretum, I know we will move the needle even further for those that are counting on us.”

While the chef-in-charge du jour is still to be announced, the date is set for Friday, September 20.

This food fest is strictly non-tuxedo and easy-does-it attire. So, give the couture gowns the night off and give the Spanx a rest for a night of wining and dining.

Sponsorships and tickets are available here.
