Mother Nature is being just plain rude. Here the old biddy led us on thinking that our dogwoods and tulips were out of danger from chilly temperatures. Why the Dallas Arboretum‘s cherry blossoms were making Dallas Blooms look absolutely heavenly.
Now a cold front this weekend is going to provide a cold shoulder with temperatures ranging from the 30s to the upper 50s. So, unless you have knitted some adorable sweaters for your ferns, bring ‘em in. And if your plants are grounded, cover them up and keep your fingers crossed.
As for the Arboretum, don’t worry. They’ve faced far worse. When the sun returns with user-friendly temperatures, Dallas Blooms will be in full bloom through Sunday, April 7.
