Grovel Alert: 2019 Equest Gala’s Arabian Nights

If you had your dreams of attending the Equest Gala — Arabian Nights — on Saturday, March 23, at Sixty Five Hundred and haven’t gotten your spot reserved, you’re in trouble. According to inside sources, Co-Chairs Annie and Teal Griffeth‘s first fundraising outing has been such a hit that they’ve had to add seven tables to accommodate the requests that keeping stampeding in.

Surprised? Not at all. In addition to the organization that provides programs benefiting youngsters with challenges, funds will also helps vets adjusting from the trauma of military service.

The night will have a chef-prepared dinner with wine pairing, dessert bar, silent and live auctions (trips like five nights in Iceland to see The Northern Lights and  seven days in Florence), raffle goodies and  and entertainment provided by DJ Lucy Wrubel and the Taylor Pace Orchestra.

Equest mini-ambassadors Cisco and Dare have already got their outfits picked to party and do selfies with Honorary Co-Chairs Cindy Thomas and Bert Headden, Co-Honorees Connie and Denny Carreker, emcee/WFAA reporter Sonia Azad, DJ Lucy and the rest of the crowd.

So, if you haven’t got your “stall” in place, you’re gonna have to sweet talk CJ Bankhead at 972.412.1099, ext. 228 pronto!
