When NorthPark Center celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015 with “Fifty Years Of Giving,” the giving didn’t stop. NorthPark First Lady Nancy Nasher and Fashion and Lifestyle Ambassador Kimberly Schlegel Whitman came up with the idea of having a year-long ambassador program that would be made up of individuals known for their philanthropic contributions. During their ambassadorship, they would be given the “opportunity to partner with NorthPark and its retailers for various events and initiatives to benefit their respective charitable organizations.”
The NorthPark ambassador class of 2019 has just been announced with the following North Texans and their charity partners:
- Kimberly Alexander, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- Cami Goff, Cliburn Foundation
- Kathryn Hall, North Texas Food Bank
- Kim Hext, The Dallas Opera
- Linda Kao, Crow Museum of Asian Art
- Pat McEvoy, Crystal Charity Ball
- Lynn Mock, The Dallas Opera
- Jessica Nowitzki, Children’s Health and The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation
- Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, Dwell with Dignity
- Lisa Shirley, Cattle Baron’s Ball benefiting The American Cancer Society
- Courtney and Jeff Sinelli, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center
- Robert Weatherly, The Family Place
To get a look at all the 2019 ambassadors, a portrait exhibition will be on display on NorthPark’s Level One between Neiman’s and Nordstrom’s from Friday, February 1, thru Sunday, March 3.
