Before getting any farther, know that tables at the 13th Annual Chick Lit Luncheon will be going for $2,500 and are available now. Individual tickets will be available in April, if there are any left.
Normally the previous info would be at the end of a post, but when you hear who is going to be the featured GOS (Guest On Stage) for the Community Partners of Dallas fundraiser, you’re gonna want to lock down a table or two or a row of ’em pronto.
2019 Chick Lit Co-Chairs Leigh Anne Haugh and Amy Hegi and Honorary Chair Amy Prestidge have arranged to have New York Times best-selling author/ Emmy Award-winning host and producer/soon-to-be-a-proud-papa Andy Cohen on stage at the Hilton Anatole on Friday, April 12.
Needless to say, the underwriting committee of Gini Florer, Emily Haddock, Liz Miller, Margaret Stafford, John Terlingo and Robert Weatherly are going to have an easy time hauling in the dough. Why Lara and Dr. Robert Tafel have already signed on board as the presenting sponsor.

If you don’t know who Andy Cohen is, please don’t ask anyone because your cool factor will melt.
According to CPD President/CEO Paige McDaniel, “Known as the ‘King of Late Night Fun,’ Andy has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment and pop culture on his live talk show, ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ including Oprah Winfrey, Cher, Meryl Streep, Will Ferrell and Mariah Carey to name just a few. We look forward to him dishing on all things Bravo, in addition to sharing his experiences as a best-selling author and award-winning producer.”
Andy has earned quite a reputation for his interactive talk show, “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.” Details Magazine in 2014 described the show as “compulsively engrossing” and Andy as “possible the smartest man on TV. “
He has been responsible for “an aggressive slate of unscripted series and specials including “Project Runway,” “Top Chef,” “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy,” “The Millionaire Matchmaker,” the “Million Dollar Listing” franchise, “Being Bobby Brown,” “Shahs of Sunset,” “Flipping Out,” “Top Design,” “The Rachel Zoe Project,” “Bethenny Ever After,” “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover” and “The Real Housewives” franchise.

But the Boston University broadcast journalism graduate has also gained a reputation for putting ink on paper with such books as “The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look At A Shallow Year,” “Most Talkative: Stories from the Frontlines of Pop Culture” and “Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries.”
No wonder he has more than 2M followers on social media!
In addition to Andy’s being on stage, the 2019 Partners for Children Award will be presented to Linda Perryman Evans and The Meadows Foundation. Don’t know how many followers they have on social media, but they provided millions of dollars for countless nonprofits.

Paige commented, “Community Partners of Dallas is thrilled to honor Linda Perryman Evans and The Meadows Foundation with our Partners for Children Award for their longtime support of our organization, including allowing us to call the Wilson Historic District home for ten fabulous years.”
So put that table together and prepare for chatting with Andy. Don’t you just know he’s gonna want to show some photos of his new baby boy.
