What a simply marvelous way to end the year. The Nancy Ann and Ray Hunt Family Foundation has played Santa Claus big-time for St. Philip’s School and Community Center with a $2M contribution for its “We Believe Campaign.”

According to Hunt matriarch Nancy Ann and patriarch Ray Hunt, “Our gift will endow the School’s Early Childhood Director position and support the expansion of the campus, both of which will help ensure St. Philip’s presence in the future. We believe St. Philip’s is not only good for South Dallas, but Dallas, as a whole.”

In addition to providing this substantial gift, their hope was that others would “join our family in supporting this beautiful ministry, by making an end-of-year contribution to support St. Philip’s annual fund and presence today. Together, we will ensure this impactful organization realizes its vision of transforming our world through faith, education and service today and into the future.”

Congrats to St. Philip’s Headmaster/Executive Director Dr. Terry Flowers, the St. Philip’s family and those inspired by this gift.

BTW, the hours are ticking away, so take the Hunts’ advice and take advantage of those end-of-year donations. Not only will your favorite nonprofit really appreciate your generosity, you’ll feel good when you file your income tax return.
