According to The Elisa Project Executive Director Kimberly Martinez,

“For more than 20 years, The Elisa Project has provided much needed support to women, men, adolescents and children of all ages. Our clients include people living with symptoms of unhealthy relationships with food including: negative body image, low self-esteem, disordered eating, eating disorders, and more. TEP serves more than 40,000 individuals annually, with 70% of our clients having monthly incomes less than $1,000. For some of our clients, The Elisa Project is their only support.
“My wish for this holiday season is for the community to support The Elisa Project by attending the 14th Annual Life Lessons Luncheon. Chaired by Abra Garrett and Heather McNamara, the luncheon will feature actor Grace Byers, known for her roles in in FoxTV’s ‘The Gifted’ and ‘Empire.’ Grace is also the author of a wonderful childcare’s book, ‘I Am Enough,’ which encourages loving who you are, respecting others and being kind to one another. We are thrilled for Grace to share her message with our luncheon supporters.
“The Life Lessons Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, February 26, at 11:00 a.m., at Market Hall at the Dallas Market Center and will include a reception, seated luncheon and of course our inspirational speaker. Sponsorships and tickets are available now. For more information, visit http://theelisaproject.org/events/life-lessons/.”
