Thanks to some very generous 2018 Celebrating Women Luncheon sponsors that “supported the luncheon and then donated their tables back,” a few seats are available for Thursday’s fundraiser benefiting Baylor Medical Health Care Foundation‘s fight against breast cancer.
It’s no surprise that the annual event has nearly sold out with Co-Chairs Pat McEvoy and Michal Powell, Honorary Co-Chairs Linda Carter and Christi Urschel, Underwriting Chair Shelle Sills, Lindalyn B. Adams Awardee Karla McKinley and featured guest Eric Stonestreet (aka Cam on “Modern Family”).
Since the first luncheon was held in 2000, the fundraiser has provided nearly $31M for Baylor’s research and development of treatments. There is no telling how many lives have been saved thanks to dedicated fundraising.
