The reason isn’t because you haven’t paid your phone bill or your battery is having hot flashes. Rather the Federal Emergency Management Agency (aka FEMA) will be conducting tests on a national level for both the Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) system and the Emergency Alert System (EAS).
