Wednesday is sounding like sort of a downer for the class of 2018 trick or treaters. The temps are gonna struggle to reach the lowest 70s and they’ll be dampened by a chance of drizzle.
Dadgummit, all of these factors will provide a challenge for folks behind the wheel as munchkins scurry around neighborhoods searching for treats.
With that said, please be even more careful than usual driving in school zones. On this night of costumes and tramping the area, the kiddos may be oblivious to the reality of meeting with metal.
No matter how great the insurance, there is nothing that can make a family or community right if a child is hurt on this night of goblins and goodies.

And if you have a little princess or Ninja Warrior making the rounds, make sure they and their escorts have flashlights to see the way and to be seen.
Be safe, not sorry.
