We do not know if there are enough words to express the amount of impact North Texas Giving Day has had on our organization. We started with North Texas Giving Days and the Communities Foundation of Texas about three years and as we became more involved, we watched our contributions increase dramatically.
Our equine assisted therapy program touches the lives of children and adults of all ages. Whether it is a physical, emotional, cognitive, or trauma related disability, the changes that are brought to each live is immeasurable. We have been able to witness first hand someone taking their first steps, speaking their first words, or overcoming obstacles that stood in their way of accomplishing things they never would have imagined.
We are also excited that due to our donors, we launched our “Protectors’ Program” this past year. This program is designed to provide much needed intervention and therapy for the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in our Armed Forces.
We believe that all our students are stars.
Our goal, this year, which we hope will be made possible through North Texas Giving Day is to launch a program that is geared towards working with children whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
Our partnership with North Texas Giving Day and the Communities Foundation of Texas will help this dream become a reality for children across the area and they too can say what was recently told to us by a young cancer patient, “This is the best day of my life!”
