Some crummy old construction along Preston Road couldn’t keep guests from attending the 2018 Crystal Charity Ball Platinum Circle Dinner hosted by Ralph Babb and Comerica at the Dallas Country Club on Thursday, September 6. The occasion signaled the CCB’s Fall fundraising festivities for the 2018 eight Dallas children’s nonprofits (After-School All-Stars North Texas, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, Buckner Children and Family Services Inc., Friends of the Dallas Public Library, Mosaic Family Service, Nexus Recovery Center and Ronald McDonald House of Dallas).
Despite a late arrival by one of the Ten Best Dressed for the pre-event photo shoot, the evening provided a giggle thanks to WFAA’s Ron Corning and a splash of splendor in keeping with the Friday, September 14th designer team of Oscar de la Renta.
