According to Cristo Rey Dallas Director of Development Susan Jenevein,

Few people know how to celebrate success like the friends of Cristo Rey Dallas.
Just ask the Grow the Grove Host Committee, which reads like a Rolodex of community leaders: Diane and Stuart Bumpas, Kelly Compton, Sissy and Allen Cullum, Claire and Dwight Emanuelson, Jeanne Phillips, Carolyn and Karl Rathjen, Barbara and Randy Rosenblatt, Pat and Pete Schenkel and Mersina Stubbs. They’re telling guests to “Get Ready for a Remix” because the third annual Grow the Grove has morphed into an all-evening cocktail party featuring demonstrations by students in the arts, sciences and other subjects and outstanding gourmet fare. DJ Lucy Wrubel will be on deck to put the celebration to music.
This year’s event on Saturday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m. at sixty five hundred is a huge hats-off to Mayor Mike Rawlings, recognizing his service to Dallas and commitment to our southern sector.

Event Co-Chairs Nancy Cain Marcus and Nelda Cain Pickens, Honorary Co-Chairs Patty and Mark Langdale and Underwriting Co-Chairs Joyce and Larry Lacerte, Liza and Will Lee, Maryann and Frank Mihalopoulos are planning this Grow the Grove as a celebration of the continuing success of Cristo Rey Dallas. In August, the school year kicked off with a full capacity of 486 freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors and 144 job partners made up of the top businesses in North Texas. CRD is located in Pleasant Grove and serves economically disadvantaged students of all faiths.
