Triumph Over Alzheimer Founder Leslie Ann Crozier has just announced that the TOA 2018 Forum and Dinner that was held last month at the George W. Bush Institute will become an annual event and with good reason. The evening that boasted a symposium featuring Drs. Michael Hayden, Roger Rosenberg, and Rudy Tanzi discussing developments in the research and treatment of Alzheimer’s netted a nifty $160,000 that will support Roger’s and Rudy’s work.
According to Leslie Ann, “The overwhelming support of the community has provided a strong foundation and we are going to schedule the 2019 Forum next May so that we can bring world-renowned Alzheimer’s scientists and researchers to Dallas. This is an opportunity to provide information about the latest research and to provide hope for those impacted by the disease.”
The 2018 Forum’s take plus last year’s $100,000 check for Roger means that since TOA’s establishment in 2017, it has provided more than a quarter of a million dollars to support research and treatment of Alzheimer’s.
