Joining the people with good taste at Stephan Pyles’ Flora Street Café tonight was the 2018 Harvest committee to hear about details for the fifth annual North Texas Food Bank fundraiser from Co-Chairs Maggie Cooke Kipp and Melinda Knowles and Honorary Chair Stephan.
As reported previously, the shindig of food-festing will take place at the Dallas Arboretum on Friday, September 21, from 7 to 10 p.m. with cocktails, a variety of auction packages and DJ Lucy Wrubel in charge of the music.
But tonight’s update was about the corral of restaurants that would be cooking up a storm at the food stations on the Arboretum grounds.
For those who snatch up a Silver or Gold sponsorship, they will have such a treat! Stephan himself will be providing the yummies at the Camp House along with special cocktails and other goodies before the whole shebang gets underway.
When the official fundraiser gets underway, guests will feast around the gardens thanks to City Hall Bistro, Empire Baking Company, Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, The French Room, The Gaylord Texan, Haute Sweets Patisserie, LeBibloquet, Luck at Trinity Groves, The Meat Shop – featuring Rosewood Ranches Wagyu Beef, Mozzarella Company, Ocean Prime, Pop Star, Parigi, Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Sixty Vines, Stocks And Bondy, Tartalicious, Uchi and Uchibā and Up On Knox.
Even before all this news was released, $43,500 in sponsorships had already been kicked including:
- Gold ($5,000) — Akin Gump, Condon Tobin Sladek Thornton(CTST)/Janie and David Condon/Melinda and Mark Knowles, 4Change Energy, Pollock, Rosser Newton/Petro Capital Group and The Rosewood Corporation;
- Silver ($2,500) – Casey Attar, The Boston Consulting Group, The CFO Group and Talent Suite;
- Bronze ($1,000) – Bray Family Trust/Stephanie Bray;
- Harvest ($500) — Brett Gray and Kindred Roach and Colby Hanks.
Suggestion: Cut down on desserts and save those pennies and dimes, so you can sup around with Stephan and his foodie friends.
