Just in time to get on fall plans, the plans for the Fifth Annual Harvest were just revealed with changes in place. And what changes they are!
Co-Chairs Maggie Cooke Kipp and Melinda Knowles along with Event Advisors/Co-Founders Kristi Bare and Nancy Gopez have arranged for man of all talents (chef, author, philanthropist, educator) Stephan Pyles to serve as honorary chair.
And to add to the revamping, the North Texas Food Bank fundraising festivities that have been at The Shed are moving to the Dallas Arboretum on Friday, September 21, with “cocktails, delicious food donated and prepared by Dallas’ top chefs and restaurants.” DJ Lucy Wrubel will be in charge of the entertainment with “unique auction packages” up for grabs, or rather bids.
According to NTFB President/CEO Trisha Cunningham, “We look forward to celebrating the fifth year of Harvest, which has raised $1.03 million since its inception in 2014, and provided three million meals for the North Texas Food Bank’s vital child and senior programs.”
And as usual, sponsorship has its own advantages. In this case, the Silver Level sponsors will be able to have an early entry and get first samplings at the 20 chef stations, as well as specialty cocktails in the Camp House with even more exclusive chef stations.
Sponsorships start at $500 and individual tickets are $200. For additional information, check with Colbi White at 214.269.0905.
