Spring break is just around the corner. For the kids it’s freedom from classrooms and desks. For parents, it’s what to do with the youngsters. Some families will hit the slopes, but loads of others will be doing stay-cations because responsibilities (i.e. jobs) won’t let the parents get away.
The little ones will be able to “explore the Zoo, animals and habitats through the lens of science” with Dallas Zoo staffers as their guides with a different focus each day.
The children will be divided up into “grade-level appropriate classes with camps running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be “BeforeCamp” (8 a.m. to 9 .m. for $5) and “AfterCamp” (4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for $10) programs each day.
But you’d better hurry and get your kiddo signed up. Monday is already sold out on all levels! BTW, tickets run $50 per day for Zoo non-members and $45 for members. Once again membership has its perks.
FYI: According to weather guessers, Mother Nature is going to play nice next week with sunshine on the radar.
