There’s the high life and then there’s the Turtle Creek high-living lifestyle. And this time of year, Turtle Creek is just drop-dead gorgeous with the fountain between Lemmon Avenue and North Hall Street, the blooming beds of flowers that would have pleased Monet and the all-polished-up mansions of the sky bordering Turtle Creek Boulevard.
To support the preservation of Turtle Creek’s 87-acre green ways and park lands, the Turtle Creek Association has once again coordinated the 17th Annual Turtle Creek Association Tour of Homes. But this year the main focus is on the residences in the high rises at the Warrington, 3525 and The Vendome. Not to be left out is an on-the ground beauty on St. Johns Drive.
The tour will take place on Sunday, April 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
That’s Part I of the fundraiser. The Part II will be a separately ticketed reception from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the home of the mama of mozzarella — Paula Lambert of the Mozzarella Company.
Parking for the tour will be available at 3811 Turtle Creek Boulevard with shuttles transporting guests to the various homes and the parking area.
Tickets for the tour are $60 for non-Turtle Creek Association members and $50 for members. But if you are an early-bird type and get your ticket(s) before March 31, then non-member tickets are $54 and $45 for members.
As for the Part II gathering, those tickets will be going for $125 per person and “will be sold on a first-come-first serve basis.”
If you’re a high roller and go for Part Un and Part Deux, you can snap the tickets up for $150. But this offer is extremely limited. So, hop to it!
