One of the favorite live auctions belongs to the Dallas Museum of Art‘s Art Ball. It’s made up of a limited number of delicious trips and one-of-a-kinders. This year’s collection of six packages has been curated by international design darling Trisha Wilson, who knows how to please the demanding beyond their expectations. Here’s the first of the dreamy items that will be on the bloc on Saturday, April 23, with President of Christie’s in America Brook Hazelton serving as auctioneer:
The Good Life At Sea (Value: $30,000)
Unlike landlocked Dallas, Palm Beach boasts a corral of eyebrow-raising yachts for the beautiful people. These mansions of the sea have all the perks of their earthbound counterparts but can also venture through the beautiful waters off the Florida Coast with destinations like Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale. How simply perfect that the winner of the package will enjoy the pleasures of M/Y CRU, a 96’ Westship Private Yacht complete with its own captain, mate and crew for seven days and six nights. But what good is such an outing without friends and/or family. So this package can accommodate six people with its three staterooms each featuring in-suite heads, TV and individual A/C.
Of course, M/Y CRU provides a plethora of activities from the fully equipped flybridge and sundeck to the main salon that can easily convert into a surround sound theater for watching the latest screener or sporting event.
And while in Palm Beach, the guests will be able to pop around the area in a M/Y CRU’s 32’ Intrepid tender.
Compliments of Robin and Jim Carreker
