Since Pam Gerber left her position as director of Entrepreneurs For North Texas (EFNT) in January, the search has been underway for her replacement. News just arrived from Communities Foundation of Texas that Dallas Arts District Executive Director Catherine Cuellar will take over that role on Monday, July 20.

According to CFT President/CEO Brent Christopher, “Catherine can capitalize on having deep roots in Dallas. Her unique energy and passion for making North Texas stronger, plus her ability to connect with business leaders, will propel EFNT’s impact further through its member companies and the communities we serve.”
Prior to the Dallas Art District, Catherine has held positions at the Dallas Morning News, KCRW in Santa Monica, California, KERA, Pegasus News and Oncor.
“Entrepreneurship is driving the current economic boom in our region, which is why I am so excited to join Entrepreneurs For North Texas — helping North Texas companies give back to our community in ways that also enhance businesses,” Cuellar said. “So many entrepreneurs want to develop a culture of good corporate citizenship, improving the lives of our neighbors across North Texas from around the world. EFNT is well-positioned to make that happen, and I am dedicated to helping member companies and building new alliances so we can strategically reach CFT’s very important goal of giving wisely.”
In addition to making “it easy for companies to do good by providing its Member Companies with resources to develop a culture of corporate citizenship, it sponsors Freedom Day, Spirit of Entrepreneurship, Good Corporate Citizenship Conference, the Plug ‘N Play series, Practitioner Events, Practitioner Roundtables and Women Dinners for EFNT Women CEOs and Quarterly Dinners.
