Art Ball Auction Item #5: It’s My Party!

Apr 7, 2015 9:30 AM by Jeanne Prejean

Trying to find a new spot to entertain is a challenge, but this Art Ball 50 live auction item is just what you’ve been looking for.

It’s My Party! — Celebrate At Grange Hall* (Value: $30,000)

How about impressing your friends with a dinner they’ll be talking about for ages? Since your crowd has hit all the top-notch spots around town as well as your home, this dinner for 22 will take place at Grange Hall. No, you won’t be eating among the marvelous merchandise that co-owners Rajan Patel and Jeffrey Lee have assembled from around the world.

This past fall Rajan and Jeffrey finished the expansion of Grange Hall to include a splendiferous restaurant to serve lunch and tea. Complementing the retailing side, its menu has featured such items as Snob Sandwich with caviar, pan seared redfish, gruner veltiner, mushroom on shortbread with soft farm egg and other yummies. And, of course, the décor is equally amazing highlighted by Jeffrey’s wall art.

But for you, it will be the setting for a dinner complete with tables decorated fastidiously by the Grange Hall team.

As for the meal, it’s got to match the setting and the crowd. And, of course, it does with four of the area’s top chefs at the helm — Nonna’s Julian Barsotti, Grange Hall’s Chad Martin, FT33’s Matt McAllister and Farm to Fork’s Sharon Hage. They’ll create a five to six course dinner paired with wines and champagne for the night.

But there’s still more. In addition to the yummies and drop-dead surroundings, you’ll be able to have a $10,000 shopping spree at Grange Hall. Ah, the choices!

Your biggest problem is going to be picking who the lucky guests will be.

* Curated by Grange Hall, Julian Barsotti, Chad Martin, Matt McAllister
and Sharon Hage
** Restrictions: Dates to be mutually agreed upon by purchaser and chefs;
 must be taken before April 11, 2016.
