JUST IN: Crystal Charity Ball Fashion Show And Luncheon Is Getting An “Oscar”

Mar 4, 2015 12:36 PM by Jeanne Prejean

The weather outside is frightful, but those Crystal Charity Ball gals and the Neiman Marcus team are sporting very, very happy faces! The reason? The reveal of the featured collection for the Ten Best Dressed Women of Dallas Fashion Show and Luncheon!

It’s gonna be 2016 Oscar de la Renta Resort Collection designed by Peter Copping, who was named the creative director of Oscar de la Renta last October just a week before Oscar’s death.

According to Crystal Charity Ball chair Michal Powell and Luncheon/Fashion Show Chair Mary Clare Finney, Oscar designer/creative director Peter Copping plans to attend the September 18th event.

According to Mary Clare, “Everyone is thrilled to have the Oscar de la Renta collection featured at this year’s event. Peter Coppings designs are very highly anticipated.”

What’s that? Questions? Here are some answers:

  • Yes, the luncheon will return to the glamorama tent adjacent to Neiman Marcus Downtown. The reception will take place in the store.
  • No, tickets aren’t available yet, but we did want you to know who’s coming to lunch.
  • Yes, there are definite perks to being a patron, like a cocktail reception the night before at Lana and Barry Andrews estate.
  • As for the 2015 Ten Best Dressed, you’ll have to wait until Wednesday, April 15, when they’re announced.
