DIFFA Dallas Previews Collection Of The Designer Outfits Up For Bid

The DIFFA Dallas special folks, like media types Ron Corning and DIFFA loyalists Simona Beal, Brittanie Buchanan Oleniczak, Carol Yeates Quist, Barbara Buzzell, Thomas Hoeber and Charles Smith II, gathered at Expressions Home Gallery in the Design District on Thursday, February 12.

While the crowd was downright cool, stylish and chic, it was the clothes on the hangars and displayed throughout that had eyes moving.

And why not? These goodies will be going up for bid at DIFFA’s annual fundraiser at the Omni Dallas on Saturday March 7.

BTW, learned that this year’s extravaganza raising funds for “preventative education programs, treatment and direct care services for people living with/impacted by HIV/AIDS” is being masterminded by Chair Neiman’s Chuck Steelman. As for orchestrating the fashion show, it will be longtime DIFFA vet Brian Brothers along with Rhonda Sargent Chambers. And there’s a 2015 Volvo S60 that’s being raffled off. The 1,000 chances are going for $100 per.

On hand for the big event will be such legends as Simona, Gillian Breidenbach, Don Gaiser, Rebecca Hallman, David Kiger and Matrice Kirk, plus Anne and Steve Stodghill serving as honorary co-chairs.
