When it comes to Dallas couples, Marianne and Roger Staubach are keepers. For 45 years, they have impacted Dallas as the name has been associated with everything from the Dallas Cowboys, commercial real estate, and community leadership to politics.
Everybody knows that Roger led the Dallas Cowboys to Super Bowl victories and his commercial real estate company to global greatness. But has anyone ever seen them in an onstage conversation?
Well, that’s gonna change come Friday, January 23, at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Connecting Point of Park Cities has managed to get these two on-the-go people to sit still for a chat with Scott Murray for its Second Annual Connecting Point of Park Cities Luncheon.
According to Luncheon Co-Chair Hollee Mills, “We could not be more excited to welcome Marianne and Roger Staubach as our featured speakers for our upcoming luncheon. Together, they have served the Dallas community for many years and reflect the core values of CPPC. It is our hope that this fundraising event will help CPPC serve more families by enhancing life for adults with disabilities.”
The timing is prime. It’s the week before the February 1st Super Bowl. And at the rate the Cowboys are doing, who knows?
BTW, there will be a silent and a live auction with “more than 20 signed items by Roger, including a signed football with his Super Bowl dates, jerseys and other memorabilia.”
Luncheon proceeds will support Connecting Point of Park Cities’ efforts to “provide an all-inclusive day program for adults with disabilities and offers a wife range of educational, vocational, social and recreational services.”
Hollee and her husband/Luncheon Co-Chair Rick Mills are handling ticket and sponsorship information. Give them a call at 214.538.6823 or email Hollee.
