Tracy And Kent Rathbun Literally Open Their Home-Sweet-Home For Signature Chef Patron Party

Sep 19, 2014 11:30 AM by Jeanne Prejean

After years of living in the clouds at the high rise across “the pond” from NorthPark, Kent and Tracy Rathbun’s dream house was in place and operation.

It was well worth the wait.

Guests at the Signature Chefs Auction patron party discovered the brilliance of the home Thursday night. But what would one expect when two foodies put their noggins together.

As Kent and FT33 Chef Matt McCallister chatted at the covered terrace area with a barbecue that would thrilled the best grill master, Kent admitted that the predicted storms hadn’t occurred. Instead the humidity had calmed down and the “cold front” had dropped temperatures just enough to have the huge wall of sliding glass doors open, expanding the free-flowing partying into the backyard with its marvy pool and Jacuzzi.

Inside Linda and Steve Ivy were telling Katherine and Chris Lalonde about their summer — a couple of months in California and one in Colorado.

MIA were Stacy and Dallas March of Dimes Ambassador Bryon Sanders’s wife, Celeste. Tracy was still at Shinsei and teacher Celeste was working with her students’ parents.

However, all will be present at the Signature Chef Dinner in the Omni on Thursday, October 30.
